Bounty Killer, Ninja Man snubs Sting 2016 depsite being honoured

Dancehall artistes Bounty Killer and Ninja Man is making it clear that they won’t be attending the 2016 staging of Sting set for Boxing Day, Monday December 26 at Jamworld Entertainment Center in Portmore, Saint Catherine, Jamaica.

The veteran deejays decision comes days after the organizers of the show dubbed “The Greatest One Night Reggae Show on Earth,” announced that they will be honoring the icons and greats who were instrumental in the success of the event this year.

However while thankful for the recognition, Bounty Killer says he doesn’t feel the move by Isaiah Laing and his team is sincere, saying it’s all a publicity stunt for the show hence the reason for the snub. “It’s always great to be honoured, but only when it’s sincerely done,” Killer said. “I know Laing very well, and he doesn’t appreciate or honour what we artistes has done for him.”

Ninja Man also shared similar views and says he will be sending a representative to collect the award for him, “If dem feel like is time dem fi honour me, then give thanks ’cause is an honour still, but somebody a go collect the award,” he said.
