Bounty Killer is definitely one of the most generous entertainers in Dancehall.

The veteran superstar warmed hearts recently as he donated $250,000 to Dancehall pioneer Junior Byles. The veteran singer, who had been seen wandering the streets recently, troubled by mental issues.

The “Look Into My Eyes” deejay made the presentation during an OnStage appearance with Winford Williams.

During the interview, Bounty discussed the importance of giving back to those less fortunate in society. The deejay was accompanied to the interview by Byles, who is best known for his single “Fade Away.”

It was recently revealed that the iconic singer was battling prostate cancer and mental issues.

Bounty Killer not only presented Byles with $250,000 but he also implored the audience to do more to help others in need. The deejay said he saw the viral video of the singer on the streets and was triggered that no one was helping.

“Nobody reaches out. No one. Not even one person from the music industry or the wider society,” Bounty said.

The “Warlord” went on to call upon his fellow entertainers, reminding them that misfortune can befall anyone.

“You don’t know and I don’t know what tomorrow may bring Jamaica; especially we as artists, we need to form some artist to artist union and we cannot wait for the government,” he declared.

“We have to pool our money together and get this on. Junior won’t be the first, he won’t be the last. Somebody will always [fall] and will have to get up back.”

Over the years Bounty Killer has remained one of the loudest voices on social issues. The deejay has given back to charity on countless occasions and is regarded as one of the most influential artistes of this era.
