Bounty Killer Buys Paint To Help Renovate Hospitals In Kingston

Bounty Killer’s philanthropic efforts will continued this Labour Day.

Last year February, the Dancehall veteran donated over 60 beds to the Kingston Public and Victoria Jubilee hospitals through his Bounty Killer Foundation.

The “Cellular Phone” deejay’s 2018 Labour Day project saw him donating a refrigerator, air-conditioning unit, and tins of oil paint to Victoria Jubliee Hospital. He and members of his team also helped paint its exterior.

According to Bounty Killer’s manager, Paul “Bankey” Giscombe, the entertainer has already purchased 60 gallons of paint to help renovate the institutions on Labour Day May 23, 2019.

“We got that amount over the weekend but we are definitely planning to get far more leading up to the 23rd. We are not only doing paint, there are other things that are expected to come in for the project,” Giscombe’s manager told the Jamaica Observer.

Bounty Killer’s connection with Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) goes back to the mid-1980s when he was admitted there for treatment of a gunshot wound. The deejay, real name Rodney Pryce, was born at the Victoria Jubilee Hospital.
