Birdman Apologizes To Lil Wayne Live On Stage

Birdman has publicly apologized to Lil Wayne following their prolonged beef and subsequent legal issues during Lil Weezyana Fest in New Orleans last Saturday.

“I knew this day was going to come, but I didn’t know when it was going to come,” Birdman told the packed crowd. “I’m sorry.”

The apology was followed by the two rappers performing a classic Big Tymers hit “Still Fly.”

For years Weezy had endured a strained relationship with his father figure, with the rapper infamously launching a $51 million lawsuit against Cash Money claiming they violated his contract terms and withheld tons of money after delaying his album Tha Carter V several times.

Lil Wayne Files Motion Against Birdman

Lil Wayne publicly dissed the Cash Money CEO during multiple onstage performances and Birdman repeatedly promised the release of Carter V.

Things, however, started to look up for for the two earlier this years after they were spotted together at a club back in March. Birdman posted a photo of him and Wayne at a club with the caption, “Me and my SON.”
