Billy Bush has gotten the boot, on Monday NBC News fired the “Today” show host after he was involved in a scandal surrounding Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
A tape of Donald Trump speaking offensively against women was released earlier this month. The presidential candidate could be heard talking to Billy Bush before his then appearance on “Access Hollywood” about how he uses his fame to sexually touch women and initiate sexual relations with them, Bush could also be heard laughing along with Trump.
Bush was suspended two days after the tape was released and admitted he was embarrassed by the conversation which was caught on the recording but executives made the decision to terminate his employment with NBC, the announcement of his release was made by the “Today” show’s top executive Noah Oppenheim.
