International superstar Beyonce has cancelled her scheduled headline performance at the 2017 Coachella festival due to doctor’s orders.
Beyonce, who is of course pregnant with twins, has taken the advice of her doctors and pulled the plug on her 2017 Coachella performance, as it seen as a major risk to her health. The “Formation” singer will instead reportedly perform at the festival in 2018.
The R&B songstress told The Associated Press on Thursday that “Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” the statement said. “However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
Coachella is yet to announce who will replace Beyonce at the two-weekend festival in Indio, California in April.
