Beenie Man is thanking fans following the successful staging of his Summer Sizzle concert which was held at the Jamalco Sports Club in Clarendon last weekend.
The event, which marked the veteran deejay’s 40th year in the music industry, was blessed with a tremendous turnout of patrons who came out to see a host of artistes including Konshens, Aidonia, Jah Vinci, and Tommy Lee and ‘Doctor’ himself.
Fans were treated to several top class performances from their favorite acts throughout the night until the wee hours of the morning when veteran deejay closed the show himself at approximately 6:30 am.

According to Beenie Man, the majority of the proceeds from the show will go directly to charity as part of his Beenie Man Foundation.
“The next step is to use the proceeds to support the work of the Sickle Cell Unit at UWI. We have to keep using the music to build the country so with every staging of this event we will plant the profit right here for Jamaicans to benefit. I wouldn’t be where I am without them,” said Beenie Man.
The deejay also revealed that there a plans in place to make Summer Sizzle Festival an annual calendar event.
