Beenie Man says his highly anticipated “Simma” album is done has been completed and will be released soon.

The veteran Dancehall artiste says he is only waiting for a release date to make the big announcement for his upcoming album.

“The album is already done. The lead single will be released very soon,” Beenie said in a recent interview.

“Wi jus a wait pon di video fi finish. Wi actually a wait pon a release date from VP records but the album is already complete, everything done – the pictures, already take, the cover already been made an everything, suh yah man, di album is actually finished.”

Beenie recently shared a teaser for the album’s first single, Fun In The Sun, featuring Popcaan and Dre Island.

The album will feature a star-studded line-up that Beenie Man says will surely satisfy fans.

“Di album nice man, because the single with me an Popcaan and Dre Island – wi have Busy signal on the album; wi have HoodCelebrityy on the album, wi have Sean Paul, Anthony Red Rose, wi have Shaggy.  Di album bad man.  Wi have even Bounty Killer all inna di album, trust mi,” Beenie said of the album which is also expected to feature Dexta Daps and Major Lazer.

Simma will be Beenie Man’s 19th studio album in his long illustrious career. It follows his last project, Undisputed, which was released over 13 years ago.

Fans will be happy with the announcement following a series of delays that pushed the album back. It was originally scheduled for release last August but was pushed back due “personal challenges.”
