Beenie Man Sampled by Big Sean On His New “I Decided” Album

Veteran Dancehall artiste Beenie Man‘s classic hit single ‘Romie’ has been sampled by American Rapper Big Sean on his new chart-topping album.

The Good Music Emcee sampled the “King of Dancehall” on his single ‘Bigger Than Me’ off the 14-track project. Beenie Man’s ‘Romie’ was produced by Shocking Vibes Productions and released in 1996, the track was featured on his seventh studio album “Maestro,” which was Nominated for Best Reggae Album at the Grammys.

Last year Beenie Man’s “Tear Off Mi Garment” was also sampled by Canadian Rapper Drake on “Controlla” off his “VIEWS” album, the Doc also gave the outro on the single after controversially replacing Dancehall artiste Popcaan.

“I Decided” is Big Sean’s fourth studio album, the project was released on February 3, 2017, by GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings and sold 150,818 album units on its debut earning the Rapper his second No.1 album of his career following Dark Sky Paradise.
