Beenie Man a no-show at Cayman event, promoter wants money back

Dancehall veteran Beenie Man could face some legal action after he was a no-show for an event in Grand Cayman.

According to the promoter, Ann Marie Logan, the ‘King Of The Dancehall’ never attended her show last week Friday which resulted in a huge financial loss. Logan claims approximately $25,000CI was spent to keep the show and it was not held, she’s now demanding her money back from the artiste.

However Beenie Man’s manager, Rohan Smith, says the ‘Tear Off Mi Garment’ deejay was unavoidably absent. Smith says Beenie wanted to do the show but members of his ‘Zagazow’ band were unable to secure work permits to travel for the show.

Logan is threatening legal action as she says her reputation as a businesswoman was damaged.
