Supporters of Dancehall entertainer Beenie Man are adamant that his long time girlfriend Krystal Tomlinson is the one controlling his Instagram account.
Beenie Man fans made the assumption on Tuesday when Lisa Hanna uploaded a photo blasting a publication in Jamaica.
“Why must you portray our Female Caribbean leaders this way? Is this as good as it gets in your eyes for women who reach to the top of their profession?,” the Member of Parliament wrote under a cartoon photo of Barbados’ new Prime Minister Mia Mottley and Jamaica’s former PM Portia Simpson-Miller.
The Doc. agreed with Hanna’s statement and shared that the photo that the ‘distasteful’.
However Dancehall/Reggae fans say Beenie Man is clearly not controlling his account, citing that he would never use that word.
“That is not a word the king of the Dancehall would use, clearly it was written by Krystal,” one user wrote, “If mi laugh mi dead, distasteful? Beenie nah seh dat him would a seh Zigga, a Krystal a run things clearly.”
Others shared different views, “Why can’t Beenie Man say something is distasteful if it is? him can’t upgrade him vocabulary?,” one user wrote.
