Beenie Man has broken his silence following the untimely death of his 63-year-old mother, Miss Lilieth Sewell.
The veteran Dancehall entertainer delated all the posts from his Instagram account immediately after getting the tragic news.
On Wednesday, Beenie Man return to upload a video, thanking his fans, and fellow dancehall acts for their overwhelming support.
In the clip, the “King of Dancehall” singer sent a big thank you to everyone who reached out directly and indirectly to show their support. “Blessed Morning just want to say thank you,” the Beenie Man wrote. “Not many of us have a strong support system, thankfully I’m blessed with great fans, great coworkers, great friends and a solid family. I am truly blessed and I am grateful. This journey will be a rough one without the physical presence of my mom but I know she is with me always.”
Beenie Man’s mom had suffered a stroke last year, and had been in and out of hospital before her death.
Back in July, she was under care at the University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston. Beenie Man made a visit to the facility and shared the emotional member with his fans via Instagram live.
