Barcelona Scouts Jamaican Footballer Leon Bailey

FC Barcelona scouted Bayer Leverkusen trio which includes, Jonathan Tah, Julian Brandt and 20-year-old Jamaican Footballer Leon Bailey during the club’s Bundesliga clash with Wolfsburg on Sunday.

According to reports, Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez and chief of scouting Urbano Ortega were at the match which finished in a 2-2 draw.

Kingston-born Bailey, who made 56 appearances over two seasons for top Belgium side Genk, was wanted by a handful of Premier League teams last year but instead was advised by his father/manager Craig Butler to hone his skills in Germany.
