A 23-year-old woman, Korryn Gaines, was shot dead and her 5-year-old son also injured during a alleged standoff with law enforcement officers who invaded her apartment in Randallstown on Monday.
According to the police, the woman was wanted for several offenses including disorderly conduct,resisting arrest and numerous traffic violations.
She was reportedly shot after cops invaded her home and she pointed a gun at them threatening to shoot them all if they did not leave her apartment.
The woman reportedly had her 5-year-old son in her arms when officers allegedly invaded the apartment to conduct her arrest.
Gains was reportedly shot dead after a alleged stand off when several shots were exchanged. The child was also reportedly injured during the incident.
