Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo from the group D4L was killed in a car accident early Wednesday morning in Atlanta.
Shawty Lo whose real name is Carlos Walker, was tragically killed in a single car accident along the city’s I-285 southbound at Cascade Road.

Initial news reports had indicated that the “Laffy Taffy” rapper was killed in a hit-and-run accident, but police have revealed that this was not the case. According to reports, the 40-year-old rapper’s white Audi went over a guardrail, struck trees and caught fire.
Cops say two other passengers were also injured in the accident, and currently hospitalized.
