Team Jamaica won the men’s 4×100 relay on Friday night in Rio de Janeiro giving Usain Bolt his 9th Olympic gold medal.
The team of Asafa Powell, Nickel Ashmeade, Yohan Blake and Usain Bolt clocked a season’s best time of 37.27 for the win.
Powell took to Twitter to thank God while adding he was grateful for the win and it was for Jamaica.
“Thanks 2God Grateful 4the win, ability 2do what I love for a country I love. Thank u Jamaica -this was for you,” He wrote.
