Popular Dancehall producer Anju Blaxx has expressed plans to expand his musical talents beyond that of just production in 2017 and beyond.

According to the U.I.M Records founder, whose real name is Andrew Myrie, he will be embarking on a number of musical projects, including a ambitious bid to become performing artiste also a disc Jock in the coming months.

Myrie, who of course is responsible for some of the biggest hits in dancehall over the last 5 years has stated that he will be expanding his musical talents far beyond production in the coming months.

He revealed plans to release his debut single in the coming weeks, which will be supported by a music video set to be filmed in February.

The versatile musician also revealed his plans to start his very own sound system “Anju Blaxx & Jiggy Biggz,” which he plans to make mainstream this year.

Despite his many recent endeavors, Myrie has no plans to slow down production for his U.I.M imprint, stating that he already has a number of projects set for release this calendar year including albums for artiste such as Tommy Lee Sparta and Blak Diamond.

Myrie recently emerged a free man after beating legal woes which clouded his career stemming from his February 2015 arrest and subsequent indictment by US prosecutors in North Dakota for allegedly conspiring in mail fraud scheme.

The producer was cleared of all charges in August 2016, and has since returned to Jamaica to focus on his musical career.
