Anju Blaxx, Bunting Wounding Case Settled

The court case involving Dancehall producer Anju Blaxx and Brent Bunting, the son of former security minister Peter Bunting has been settled.

Bunting’s lawyer Peter Champagnie told the court on Monday that his client had been fully compensated by Anju Blaxx and was no longer pursuing wounding charges following mediation.

Anju Blaxx also told the court that he did not wish to continue the wounding case against Bunting.

Bunting and the UIM records CEO were involved in a physical confrontation at the producer’s home in St Andrew back in March.

According to reports, family members had staged a surprise birthday party for the Dancehall beatmaker, whose real name is Andrew Myrie. It is alleged that Bunting turned up to the residence complaining about the loud noise, and a fight reportedly ensued.

Reports indicate that Bunting sustained a fractured jaw while Myrie was left with injuries to his face.

Cops charged Myrie with wounding with intent, while Bunting was slapped with unlawful wounding charges.
