The Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness is committed to his new Most Honourable Bro Gad title.
Social media users gave Holness the moniker earlier this year and he has been running with it ever since.
Last week during the Jamaica Labour Party’s (JLP) annual conference at the National Arena in Kingston, Holness walked on stage rocking a “Most Honourable Brogad.” The move comes a month after his Twitter handle was changed to the ‘Most Hon Brogad’ sending Jamaicans into a frenzy.
The term ‘Bro Gad’ was popularised 6ixx deejay Daddy1. He explains that a Bro Gad is a man held in high esteem, a faithful friend who is like a family member.
