Andrew Holness Bro Gad

Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness released five Dancehall dubplates on Sunday (August 16).

Social media users were sent into a frenzy after the leader of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) rolled out a slew of dubplates as election campaigns continue virtually.

Andrew Holness announced the date for Jamaica’s 18th general election last week and since then the JLP and the People’s National Party (PNP) have been campaigning hard online due to COVID-19. The General elections are scheduled to be held in Jamaica on 3 September 2020, with Nomination Day set for Tuesday, August 18, 2020.

Joining his previously released Skillibeng and Shenseea cuts, the Most Honourable Brogad dropped dubs from Ishawna, Masicka, Jahvillani, Teejay and Intence.

First off the bat was former Downsound Records artiste Ishawna with her smash hit “Equal Rights.”

Just moments later, Holness rolled out custom cut of Masicka’s new track “Just A Minute”.

The Wile Side Government Jahvillani entered the chat with a crowd favourite, “Clarks Pon Foot.”

BroGad was not finished just yet as he recruited Romeich Entertainment deejay Teejay for “Owna Lane” and Intence remixed his Foota Hype diss track “Antisocial” to take jabs at the PNP.
