American Woman Murdered In Jamaica Was Owed Money

A 68-year-old Amercian woman who was found stabbed to death in Coral Gardens, St James last week was reportedly owed money by someone on the island.

Heidi Ann Muth, a retired teacher from California, was found dead along a dirt path in the upscale community of Coral Gardens in St James.

According to Sarah Schiermeyer, a woman who claims to be Muth’s close friend, she told her she was owed money by someone in Jamaica and believes possibly ventured to the island to collect the debt.

Muth was found with multiple stab wounds to her head and upper body.

Police have made no arrests in the case, and are yet to establish a motive into the killing.
