Alkaline has announced that he will not be performing in New York on Sunday night.
The Dancehall artist was billed to take the stage at the Ecips Music Festival which is being held at the Roy Wilkins Park in Queens, New York.
Sources close to the Vendetta deejay tells the Tropixs that Alkaline is not at fault as he is currently in New York but orgainzers have failed to pay their final deposit which was outlined in the contract.
The source added that several other acts slated for the show weren’t paid and they also removed themselves from the lineup.
The highly anticipated event advertised a heavyweight lineup which included Akon, Remy Ma, Alkaline, Freddie Jackson, Queen Ifrica, Elephant Man, Denise Belfon, De La Ghetto, Kip Rich, Mega Banton, Genah, Michigan, Lady G, Tinga Stewart, Roy Rayon, Donyale, Maddadan and Teflon.
