Alkaline returns to Instagram a week after being detained by cops

Dancehall Entertainer Alkaline is back on Instagram.

The “Badness It Name” deejay took to the popular photo-sharing app on Friday, February 17, to upload two photos without captions on his new “manhimselff” handle. This is the Vendetta deejay’s first post on social media since being detained by cops on Thursday, February 9.

On Monday, February 13, Alkaline, real name Earlan Bartley was released from Police custody after spending over five days. This comes after the Criminal Investigation Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) released a statement on Tuesday, February 7  saying Alkaline was wanted for questioning in relation to the murder of Rohan “Head” Morris as cops believe the deejay can assist with the investigation. 28-year-old Morris was shot more than 15 times at his home in Oaks Garden, St Andrew in January allegedly beside his 5-year-old daughter.
