Alkaline responds to reports that he’s signed to DJ Khaled’s ‘We The Best’ label

Dancehall enigma Alkaline is responding to reports that he was recently signed to DJ Khaled’s ‘We The Best’ label.

The rumours started circulating last week shortly after the release of Alkaline’s new single ‘Farewell’ with We The Best-signed Dancehall artiste Mavado.

Multiple online reports claimed that DJ Khaled made the announcement during a radio station interview saying, “New York City, Alkaline is officially signed to We the Best Music Group. Alkaline is a part of the family.” “Alkaline already does great music, and I’m just gonna add some stamina to it, feed the streets, put some hits out.”

However sources close to the Vedetta camp tells The Tropixs that the stories are fabricated and just another pointless rumour involving the artiste.

Speaking for Alkaline, his manager Kereena Beckford says there’s no truth to the reports.

The ‘Champion Boy’ deejay’s management also made it clear that, “Alkaline didn’t sign with Khaled’s We The Best Music Label.”
