Alkaline reports to Police for questioning in murder investigation

Dancehall artiste Alkaline is currently at the Area 4 Headquarters, Harman Barracks in Vineyard Town to answer questions in relation to the murder of Rohan Morris.

The “Badness It Name” deejay, real name Earlan Bartley, was expected to turn himself in on Wednesday after the Criminal Investigation Branch of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) released a statement Tuesday afternoon however he rescheduled for Thursday morning after hiring attorney Peter Champagnie to represent him.

Speaking with Television Jamaica’s Prime Time News on Wednesday Champagnie says his client is not a person of interest and is willing to work with the police and answer any questions they ask of him.

Questioning is set to resume at 1PM today.
