Popular Dancehall artiste Alkaline‘s work ethic has drastically improved since his recent detention earlier this month, the Vendetta deejay is reportedly writing and recording more singles.

“I don’t know what happened, but the artiste is more focused these days after badmind try stop him food other day,” a close source to the “Badness It Name” deejay told The Tropixs. “Fans can expect a lot of hits coming their way any minute now, the artiste stocking up tracks because any game can play and his family affi eat.”

While Alkaline is yet to release a single since his lock-up, he took to social media Monday night to upload a photo in studio with his main producers, Kimani “DJ Frass” Palmer and Leonandre “Lee Milla” Miller.

“It will be interesting to hear the first single the “Champion Boy” drops,” one Dancehall insider said. Alkaline’s last project was released on February 4 titled “Son of a Queen,” the track which is dedicated to his mother Sharmain Bartley, was produced by Chimney Records and is currently trending at No. 28 in Jamaica with over 600,000 Streams on Youtube, listen here.
