Alkaline trashed Popcaan’s new album on Twitter following an exchange with an Unruly fan.
The Vendetta deejay shared a link to his new single on the popular app when a Popcaan supporter used the opportunity to plug the new Yiy Change Fixtape.
Alkaline wasn’t having it and quickly responded by saying, “Ya tell me dat fa battyman ??guh listen yuh fishtape n lif up.”
Tensions have been high recently between the OVO Unruly and MVP camps with Drake and Mavado’s ongoing beef. Just moments after Popcaan rolled out his Fixtape, the Canadian rapper took shots at the Gully Gad via Instagram live.
“Some bwoy love chat about yaad man and some next f***kery and all now dem can’t catch up to the 876 Gad go hold a one seat and a box juice and hush ya mout OVO Unruly,” Drake commented on Popcaan’s Live.
Popcaan and Alkaline longstanding feud started around four years ago, after the Vendetta deejay accused the Popskull of stealing his flow. That war came to a head early in 2017, Popcaan released Stray Dog aimed at Alkaline who responded with Microwave.
