Recording artiste Aidonia is calling for peace and unity in the Dancehall industry.

In a recent Instagram Live video, the 4th Genna deejay first explained her reason for releasing a handful of music for his fans.

“Koffee use maybe a six or seven-song EP and get the Grammy, suh mi a show uno seh a nuh one million nothing or no bag a noise, or who a run this or that dawg.” he explained.

The Banga deejay continued by saying that no one man can run the Dancehall industry and in order for the genre to grow and make a more impact internationally, entertainers need to to allow each other to operate in their own lane.

Aidonia then hailed a slew of artistes who he says are fundamental in the Dancehall industry,such as Buju Banton, Super Cat, Terror Fabulous, Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Shabba Ranks, Ninjaman, and Lieutenant Stitchie and many others.

The entertainers continued by lauding his peers Mavado, Vybz Kaartel and Agent Sasco, “From in ah the 2000s ah come up, yuh see me brother, bombocl@#t, Mavado dem ah column in ah dis brother, scene, Vybz Kartel dem a column in ah dis brother, Agent Sasco, Assassin ah column in a dis brother, scene,” he said.

Alkaline, Popcaan, Busy Signal, Spice, Shenseea, Jada Kingdom and many others including himself made the list, all but Masicka. “Aidonia column in a dis. Alkaline dem, new generation dem, come ah column in ah the ting brother, scene, Popcaan dem come column in ah de new generation.”
