Agent Sasco

Agent Sasco has received special recognition for his mentoring of troubled kids.

The Dancehall superstar has been singled out for his work with children in the care of the Department of Correctional Services.

Last week State Minister for National Security Rudyard Spencer presented a trophy to the deejay on behalf of the ministry’s flagship ‘We Transform’ mentorship program.

For the past two years, Agent Sasco has been credited for his financial assistance as well as working tirelessly with the program to help young men at the Metcalfe Street Juvenile Centre in Kingston.

According to officials, Agent Sasco was one of few entertainers approached to be an ambassador of the program. He is seen as a positive figure who can be a great role model for at-risk youth.

Agent Sasco went on to thank the ministry for the opportunity to make a difference revealing that it has been a great experience for him.

“I now have a better appreciation for the We Transform program. I have been inviting friends and colleagues to participate, and most recently, two wards were awarded an opportunity to work with Uppercut [Barbershop and Salon], for which I am grateful,” he said.
