Agent Sasco breaks silence after Grammy snub, says he’s disappointed

Recording artiste Agent Sasco, formerly known as Assassin has finally broken his silence after his third studio album ‘Theory of Reggaetivity’ was not nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.

Since the 2017 Grammy nominations were released on Tuesday many Dancehall and Reggae fans were left furious when Sasco’s project which peaked at number three on the Billboard Chart and made it’s iTunes Reggae Chart debut at number two was snubbed by the committee.

According to the ‘Never Let Them Break You Down’ singer after finding out he didn’t receive the Grammy nod he was left disappointed however Sasco says he understands the process. “I would have loved to secure a nomination. I mean, it’s the Grammys; who wouldn’t want that?” he said. “At the same time, I also understand the voting process. I understand 100 per cent that it’s the votes that decide and the committee has spoken.”

Sasco also congratulated the nominees and thanked his fans for their continued support.
