Adele turns down 2017 Super Bowl half-time show offer

British superstar Adele has turned down the opportunity to perform at the 2017 Super Bowl half-time show.

The 28-year-old “Hello” singer informed fans during a show over the weekend that she declined the offer as the Super Bowl is ‘not her scene.’

“First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl,” Adele said. “I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really- I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no.”

The mega successful singer is renown for her powerful voice and depth of songwriting, and less so for her entertaining performances so the decision may be seen as understandable.
