British Pop singer Adele went viral on Sunday after she uploaded a photo wearing a Jamaican Bikini.
The “Hello” singer uploaded the flick on IG as a tribute to UK’s Notting Hill Carnival. In the image, Adele can be seen rocking a Jamaican Bikini and Bantu knots, a traditional African hairstyle.
“Happy what would be Notting Hill Carnival my beloved London 🇬🇧🇯🇲,” the 32-year-old singer captioned the post for Carnival, which is being celebrated virtually this year due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
While Jamaicans celebrated Adele’s photo, she came under fire from international fans online who accused her of cultural appropriation.
