American Rapper Jimmy Wopo is dead and another person is in the hospital following a double shooting in Pittsburgh on Monday.
The 21-year-old’s manager, Taylor Maglin, confirmed that Wopo died following the shooting via Facebook.
“I lost my brother today and it’s the worst feeling in the world,” Maglin wrote. “He was destined for greatness and he wanted the best for his friends, family and community. We lost a great person today, but just know I will do everything in my power to make his memory live on forever. Love you bro #LongLiveWopo.”
Police said the second victim was transported in stable condition. The victim’s identity has not been released.
The shooting happened around the intersection of Wylie Avenue and Chauncey Street.
