Producer Mark ‘Stone Cold’ Hudson is creating new waves with a 17-year-old Sean Paul track which is featured on his latest compilation album Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica.

The producer released the compilation recently, which debuted at number two on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, spearheaded by the nearly two-decade-old Sean Paul track “Regular Thing.”

According to Hudson, the track was first released back in 2001, about the same time the deejay released his massively successful “Dutty Rock” album but did not become an immediate smash hit.

Since the release of the compilation, Hudson says the particular track has been gaining tremendous support and gaining mainstream airplay.

According to the producer, the song has experienced a renaissance as it has that sound Sean Paul had back then which has “become popular again.”

The compilation album has 15 tracks with guest features from superstars such as Ed Sheeran, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Stephen Marley, Safaree, Sean Kingston, Chronixx, Sizzla, Vybz Kartel, Wyclef Jean and more.
