A man and a 16-year-old female were taken into custody in relation to the seizure of a firearm and one round of ammunition in Rocky Point, Clarendon on Saturday.
Reports are that about 7:45 a.m., lawmen carried out an operation at a premises where a .38 revolver and a .38 cartridge were found.
Twenty-four-year-old Dazel Bailey of Rocky Point in the parish, and the teenager, were subsequently arrested and charged with illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
Police investigations continue into the find.
