Vybz Kartel Beenie Man King Dancehall

The Tropixs (Kingston, Jamaica) – Beenie Man is letting everyone know he is still the King of The Dancehall and not Vybz Kartel.

The veteran deejay superstar has seemingly taken fresh shots at Kartel over the ‘King of The Dancehall’ title while teasing a new track on Instagram.

Beenie Man managed to spark some controversy yet again after posting a video clip of him spitting a few lines from a upcoming track with a few standout lyrics which caught listeners ears.

In the clip, Beenie can be heard deejaying “Yo mi nuh haffi boast bout MOBOS nor Grammy / My joy a fi know fi know di fans waa hear from mi / People line up from UK to Germany / Ago know the KING when mi land inna Miami / Only otha king a Dancehall a King Jammy.”

Several fans took to social media to point out the apparent shade towards the incarcerated entertainer, who has in recent years declared himself the new King Of The Dancehall.

“New king crown long time, time to move on,” one fan commented while another gaza fan added “Reminds me of D’angel, irrelevant.”

However, the veteran superstar did gain the approval from several fans as many backed up his claim in the comments.

“One king in a dance hall me general,” one fan proclaimed while another commented “consistency!!! ano everybody can do this legends inna the streets @kingbeenieman 🔥🔥🔥”

Beenie Man has taken several jabs at Vybz Kartel in recent years following the release of his 2016 “King Of The Dancehall,” which openly declared him as the new ruler of the genre.
