The YVAs (Your View Awards), formerly known as the Youth View Awards will be taking a break in 2019.
According to organisers, An Elegant Affair, producing the annual event has taken a toll their team so they will be taking the time to decide if they should host another staging.
“The level of production that the YVAs required, both mentally and physically, to bring it to life has taken a toll and has resulted in us taking a hiatus next year to refill our well and evaluate if we will go forward,” Karen Clarke, CEO of An Elegant Affair said in a statement.

YVAs made its debut in 2017 to celebrate the achievements of local entertainers. The nominees and winners are selected by online votes from the public, among the YVAs categories are; Icon Award, Lifetime Achievement, Humanitarian, Song, Music Video, Dancing and Album of The Year.
