Investigators are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the body of a woman was found in the Black River in Amity Hall district, Old Harbour, St Catherine on Saturday.
Police reports indicate that the body was discovered by residents, and retrieved from the river by cops.
The body is described as being of brown complexion, medium build, about 152 centimetres (5 feet) long and is believed to be in its mid-twenties. It was clad in a white merino and black tights.
Persons who are able to offer any assistance in the investigations are being urged to contact the Old Harbour Police at 983-2255 or the nearest police station.
