A woman was shot and injured following a confrontation between police and gunmen in Jerusalem Mountain, Westmoreland on Thursday.
According police reports, cops were engaged by armed men while conducting a operation in the Jerusalem Mountain area.
After the shooting subsided, a woman was discovered suffering from gunshot wounds and was taken to hospital.
Police say they recovered two guns after searching the area, the weapons included a AK-74 assault rifle and a 12 gauge shotgun.
