Wycliffe Mitchell, father of international recording artiste Wanye Marshall, passed away in the University Hospital at the West Indies in St Andrew on Sunday.
The dancehall deejay confirmed his father’s death in a heartfelt Instagram post.
“Fly with the angels my boss. Daddy passed today after fighting hard in the hospital. Thanks for all the prayers, support and positive energy in this tough time. God has him now and it is well. Wycliffe Mitchell Jan 12 ,1952 – June 10, 2018,” Marshall wrote.
Wycliffe’s death comes two days after he suffered a massive heart attack.
