Incarcerated superstar Vybz Kartel has a few words for Dancehall elders Beenie Man and Bounty Killer.

On Saturday, Killer shared a post on Instagram demanding respect for himself and fellow entertainers Beenie Man and Buju Banton.

Killer referred to the trio as the “The Three B’s, The Dancehall Trinity and The Emperors of Dancehall.”

“These artists, The Three B”s been doing music for over 20 years and are still carrying the torch for Jamaica,” he wrote under a photo collage of himself with Beenie Man and Buju Banton.

“Anyplace in the world these artists will pack stadiums and arenas. They achieved every accolade in their careers. Every music industry person involved in this genre who followed in the game after them should pay their utmost respect. No other artist has hits like The Three B’s,” Killer continued.

Shortly after Bounty Killer’s post, Vybz Kartel hit back questioning the reason why the new generation should respect elders in the Dancehall industry.

“A NO UNUH START DANCEHALL and DANCEHALL no stop a unuh. ALL WHEN UNUH DEAD AND GONE DANCEHALL STILL A GWAAN. “BIG UP DI #YOUTHS DEM , BIG UP DI #UPCOMING DJ DEM..SOME A UNUH ELDER BADMINE A KILL UNUH. BUT ALL WHEN UNUH DEAD & GONE STAR STILL A GO REIGN BIGGER & BETTER THAN #UNUH& #ME.”
