Despite their recent jabs on social media, Vybz Kartel took time out recently to send birthday wishes to Bounty Killer’s late mother, Miss Ivy.
On Thursday, the incarcerated Dancehall deejay’s Instagram account sent out a heartfelt message to Miss Ivy on her special day. In the post, Kartel thanked her for giving birth to Rodney ‘Bounty Killer’ Price who is instrumental in the development of several entertainers including the Worl’ Boss.
“HAPPYEARTHDAY IN HEAVEN #RIP Ms Ivy Forever in Daddy’s heart. you gave us #You and you gave us a #God, a #Warlord, a #Governor, a #General,” Kartel wrote.
Vybz Kartel’s post was lauded by Bounty Killer fans who also took the time out to blast his former mentor Mavado, “No matter how things go bounty killer will always be d general.. man make sure him share d cake and make a whole heap a ghetto youths get a slice.. one a d best trends Eva set ina dancehall,” one fan wrote.
“Such a shame that Mavado can’t show the same respect to the general, that’s why me a fi rate Kartel so much, the man great and him no bad mind,” another added.
