Incarcerated Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel has responded to his arch nemesis Alkaline’s recent diss track ‘Ricochet.’
The DJ Frass records single was released earlier this week and sees the Vendetta deejay blasting the self-proclaimed ‘Worl Boss’ and his former protégés Tommy Lee Sparta and Popcaan weeks after Kartel’s ‘Round Corna’ diss track which was aimed at the ‘Gully Gad’ Mavado and Alkaline.

However while ‘Ricochet’ has already racked up over 200,000 views on YouTube, close sources to Vybz Kartel says the ‘Last One’ deejay isn’t taking the diss track seriously. Sources say Kartel thinks the single was subpar, properly written nor does it reflect the true nature of Dancehall music. Another source said, “The World Boss just laugh because the song soft, we all know the likkle bling bwoy is a coward.”
Vybz Kartel also took to social media to after Ricochet’s release to make a cryptic post saying, “IF EVERYTHING IS DANCEHALL,NOTHING IS DANCEHALL. #TRUETODIS!”
