Vybz Kartel might not be releasing any new music until a conclusion is reached in his appeal trial.

According to sources within the Gaza camp, fans should not expect any new music from the “Worl Boss” until a verdict is reached in the deejay’s recently concluded appeal trial for the 2011 murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.

Fans have been flooding the entertainer’s social media accounts in recent months asking when they will be getting new music, as the deejay’s last release was actually “Vybz Principal” which came on June 26th.

Some Dancehall insiders have theorized that the “Highest Level” deejay could be acting upon the advice of his attorneys as they believe any controversial new song could potentially sway the minds of judges or cause prejudice his case.

The deejay and his legal team are said to be in a cautious but confident mood following a strong presentation of his defense in his recently concluded his appeal trial. A verdict is expected to be reached later this year.

Vybz Kartel and his three co-accused Shawn “Storm” Campbell, Andre St John, and Kahira Jones, were all convicted in 2014 for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams, who investigators say was beaten to death at a premises owned by the deejay in Havendale, St Andrew.
