The jury forewoman in Vybz Kartel’s high profile murder trial has denied claims of her behaving inappropriate during the trial.

The woman allegedly fondled a court clerk during the “Fever” deejay’s case however she refuting the accusations earlier this week in court.

According to the forewoman, she only hugged the clerk several times however their encounters were in the presence of other jurors.

The accusations were made on Tuesday when she gave evidence in the trial for juror Livingston Caine who allegedly attempted to bribe members of the jury with a $500,000 gift.

During cross-examination by defence attorney Valerie Neita-Robertson, the forewoman says the clerk visited the jury room several times because of his duties and they became friends but insisted there was no fondling.

“Is it correct that on some occasions you, in particular, would fondle him [the clerk whose name is being withheld?” Neita-Roberston questioned. The foreman laughed before denying the claims.

However the prosecution then objected which resulted in a fiery exchange with Neita-Roberston.
