Vybz Kartel has officially given his new collaboration with Shenseea the stamp of approval.
Fans were left somewhat surprised earlier this week after Shenseea took to Instagram teasing a brand new collaboration with herself and incarcerated Dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel titled “Secret (Remix).”
Many were quick to question the authenticity of the track based upon the messy situation which emerged from her 2017 single “Loodi,” which was openly blasted by the entertainer.
The hit single, which was produced by SoUnique Records was struck by controversy after the “Fever” deejay took to Instagram declaring that his song was never intended to be a collaboration.
However, it seems all is now well between the two camps as the “Worl Boss” took to Instagram on Thursday to officially confirm his appearance saying “@shenseea you #leak it ..no longer a #secret #Secret(remix) out NOW!!!!.”
It did not take long for the “Jiggle Jiggle” star to get in on the act as she quickly replied, “Me know dem ago try search fimi like pum pum satellite so me Make sure block d wul a dem from yesideh ??? #worldboss #shenyeng #SECRET.”
The announcement comes after Shenseea was heavily criticized by fans on social media who had suggested the track was not authentic because it had not been shared by Vybz Kartel’s official pages.
However, Shenseea hit back at the negative comments saying “Me love make people talk cause them nuh know nothing fi sure! But them ago tired fi hear we! Dem ears ago sore!! #worldboss and #shenyeng.”
Shenseea then promised to release the track on her VEVO account if she received five thousand comments, which she did.
