Dancehall entertainer Mavado is being savagely trolled by Vybz Kartel’s Gaza fans on social media.
The ‘Fever’ deejay supporters flocked the Gully Gad’s Instagram account following reports that he was shot at in his Cassava Piece, St Andrew community earlier this month.
Vybz Kartel fans labelled Mavado a rat after he allegedly ran to the Constant Spring police station and filed report following the incident.
“Mavado you is a big informa yuh nuh see seh yuh own community nuh rate yuh??? Run weh from bout yah,” one fan wrote. “Must joke this yuh seh yha Gangsta fi life yuh must mean snitch fi life,” another added.

Other Gaza supporters used the opportunity to recite lyrics from the self-proclaimed ‘Worl’ Boss’ infamous Mavado diss track ‘Don’t Run’ – “Di bwoy run like a wounded dog / Bruk Usain record / Don’t run barber bwoy don’t run / Di bwoy dress up like police / And a run like thief.”
Shortly after the trolls began to swamp his Instagram account, Mavado blasted the media claiming the reports were false.
“I’m just saying f–k the rumours,” Mavado wrote. “I wonder how much dem pay dem media friends for all the shit dem a chat, anyway bless up my community cassava piece my people.”
However despite the entertainer’s post, police confirmed the shooting incident did take place, and that a suspect was in custody. Mavado has since deleted the post.
