Mavado is facing some heavy scrutiny from Vybz Kartel fans who are accusing him of fleeing the island in the midst of his teenage son’s murder trial.
The “Father God” deejay has been blasted by fans on social media after cops formally charged his 16-year-old son with the murder of 23-year-old Lorenzo Thomas, who was shot and chopped to death at his home in Cassava Piece.

Since the indictment, fans have accused the entertainer of abandoning his son to face the legal system on his own while ignoring requests from investigators to turn himself in for questioning.
However, sources close to the Gullyside camp have rubbished these claims revealing that the entertainer is making plans to mount a high-powered defense team for his son and maintains his innocence.
Mavado’s son is set to return to court this week when his bail hearing continues.
