Vybz Kartel has given fast-rising Montego Bay-based entertainer Squash his stamp of approval.

The incarcerated Dancehall superstar publicly endorsed the 6ixboss on Instagram Thursday. Kartel uploaded a video of Squash who declared that his dream collaboration would be with the “Fever” deejay.

“#WorlBoss #6ixBoss …,” Kartel wrote under the video, Squash quickly responded saying, “You know how the thing god ino god fada that a 6ix Gaza @vybzkartel.”

Gaza and 6ix fans instantly went into a frenzy as many hope the exchange is a hint at a possible collaboration between the two.

Squash was released from police custody last week after being detained for six months under the Emergency Powers Act.

Known for hits such as; Lavish, Trending, Money Fever and Allergy, Squash was taken into custody on August 8 during the state of emergency in St James.

The ‘6ix Boss’, whose given name is Andre Whittaker, became a free man on Wednesday, one day before January 31-end of the state of emergency. This was after acquiring the services of prominent attorney-at-law Tom Tavares-Finson.

Meanwhile, Vybz Kartel is currently awaiting a verdict in his appeal trial. The Dancehall superstar along with fellow entertainer Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell and Andre St John were convicted for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams in April 2014 and they were handed mandatory life sentences.
