Vybz Kartel is taking Dancehall singer Keshan’s death to heart.

As the incarcerated entertainer continues to mourn Keshan’s passing, Vybz Kartel revealed that he had plans to sign her to his record label.

“You parents lose a part of them existence and Dancehall lost a young star wid infinite potential,” Kartel wrote. “Me remember when you tell me say me fi sign u and me a say wait till me fwd everything a go good. and look deh…sip babee mi miss you kesh ???? no lie.”

Since Keshan’s debut in 2013, she has released hits such as Bubble Up Your Body, Don’t Lie, Kill or Die, and The Goods featuring incarcerated Vybz Kartel.

The 24-year-old, whose given name is Keneisha Brown was shot dead on Saturday morning.

According to the police, Keshan who resided in Marley Mount, Old Harbour, was shot and killed shortly after midnight during a dispute with a licensed firearm holder in an area known as Sharper Lane.

Its alleged that during the dispute she threw several stones into the licensed firearm holder’s car before stabbing him several times. According to the police, the man discharged one round from his firearm which hit her in the upper body.

The entertainer reportedly died while undergoing treatment at hospital.
